The Atlanta-based startup announces board appointment shortly after closing its first fundraising round
ATLANTA, Ga. (April 4, 2023) — PorterLogic, the supply chain tech stack for growing brands, is excited to announce the appointment of Paul J. Noble to its board of directors. Noble brings extensive experience in supply chain technology and innovation and a proven track record of success to the PorterLogic team.
Noble has held multiple management and leadership positions throughout his career. After cutting his teeth in the industrial supply chain and distribution space as a sales leader with Sherwin Williams, Noble founded Verusen, an innovator in supply chain materials data, inventory and procurement intelligence. Noble currently leads Verusen as its chief strategy officer and board director, overseeing the company’s vision and strategic direction. He was recognized as a “Supply Chain Pros to Know” by Supply & Demand Chain Executive for four consecutive years and named an EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2022 Southeast Award finalist in 2022.
"We are thrilled to have Paul join our board," said Jonathan Porter, CEO and founder of PorterLogic. "Paul will provide valuable insights and guidance to our team as we continue to grow and expand through this next exciting phase of the company."
“It has been a pleasure getting to know Jonathan over the past few years from inception to launch, and I couldn’t be more excited to join and help support the growth of PorterLogic as they go to market,” said Noble. “The simple and configurable solutions PorterLogic offers align to fill a void for the immediate needs of their customers and the expectations of the supply chains of the future.”
As our first independent board member, Noble will be pivotal in helping shape PorterLogic’s strategic direction and ensuring the company's long-term success. He will also work closely with PorterLogic's executive team to help identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
This announcement comes on the heels of PorterLogic welcoming its first institutional investor — TitletownTech, a Wisconsin-based venture capital firm formed from a partnership between the Green Bay Packers and Microsoft.
