PorterLogic Named Startup Atlanta’s Scrappiest Startup for 2022

ATLANTA (Oct. 13, 2022) – PorterLogic is honored to announce that Startup Atlanta has recognized us as the 2022 Scrappiest Startup at the 2022 Atlanta Startup Awards, held on October 12 at Midtown Atlanta’s Atlantic Yards.

“Building a business is a roller coaster, and winning the scrappiest startup category last night was one of the highlights. To us, being scrappy means being gritty on the road to success, doing things that don't scale to delight our users, and creatively leveraging the resources we have to deliver outsized results to our customers,” said Anya Skomorokhova, co-founder and chief commercial officer at PorterLogic. 

The Atlanta Startup Awards is the premier awards event for local early-stage and growth-stage businesses and entrepreneurs. The award's scrappiest startup category recognizes a startup that has achieved significant milestones over the last 12 months without raising equity or debt capital.   

“We are building our company on sound business fundamentals, profitable growth, and maximizing our chances of success in this uncertain market. Often, we’re making difficult decisions and forgoing short-term rewards means we can thrive in the future. We're honored to be labeled scrappy and recognized for our accomplishments,” Skomorokhova said. 

Skomorokhova and Alex Huggs, PorterLogic’s vice president of customer success, were presented with the award in front of a sold-out crowd of Atlanta’s leading entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and support groups. Startup Atlanta and local entrepreneur advocates and related groups organized the event. The theme for the 2022 Startup Awards is Ready, Set, Rise, which represents the resilience and competitive energy that embodies the startup ecosystem in Atlanta.
